Is the "Distributed Server Mode" option enabled in Tools/Options menu, Network settings? If yes, check you have the same port number specified on both sides - the scheduler and the remote control, if not enable the server mode. If you have that option enabled and have the same port and still cannot connect try to ping the computer running 24x7 Scheduler. : Hi : I am using a trial copy of 24x7 Automation Suite 3 to : evaluate the product. : At this stage I have installed the software, carried out the configuration : I believe is required to enable remote connection - but each time I try : to connect I recieve an error indicating the host not found- requested : service not active. : I know the host is ok and I have 24x7 running as a server application (not a : service). : Could someone let me know where I'm going wrong. : Cheers
