Every 24x7 Scheduler installation is governed by a separate license and requires a unique serial number. It does not matter how you run it as standalone scheduler, server, agent, remote control, or an API component. You must obtain a separate single installation license for every 24x7 installation, unless you got a site license. The only exception is using 24x7 Scheduler COM or Java interface on a Web server, that also requires the site license. Also note that the license verification is bypassed in the trial version. : I have the Scheduler (server) running with "multi-instance sync." : enabled. But I didn't start it as the remote agent. I could then connect : to this "master" using the "remote control" before : entering the registration code. After entering it, I could no longer : connect. It was the correct code. Instead of a connection being made, the : license agreement appeared on the server, each time I tried. I suspect : that this was do to the fact that two instances of the scheduler were : running simultaneously. I found this strange becuase of the fact that it : worked unitl I enered the serial number. I'll run the remote agent and : remote control instead. Thanks for your help.
