24x7 Scheduler 2.3.7 running on Windows NT Servers and Workstations.

The problem appears to be that Asnyc Jobs don't send back finish messages.

Normal execution as it appears in the Job Log for an syncronious job appears to be the following:

Job Started
Agent Contacted
Finish Message Sent
Remote Job Finished

While Asyncronious jobs are the following:

Job Started
Agent Contacted
Remote Job Posted for Execution

From a scheduling report point of view it would be nice to see that the job actually executed and finished as well.

I have some other jobs that are similar that provide the following information:

Agent Contacted
Remote Job Posted for Executeion
Remote Job Exit Coce: 1
Connection to Agent Closed
Job Finished

This is what I wanted so it appears that it isn't a report problem but something with either the Job or the Agent.

Would the agent being an older version cause this problem?

I'll upgrade and see if I start getting the correct feedback.

Yes, the most recent version 2.3.7 should provide full feedback.

By the way the next version 2.4.0 will be posted sometime this week.

The job ran this morning with the 2.3.7 remote agent and I got the proper feedback.
