Can you clarify what you can call a "process". Does the 24x7 job starts? Does it succeed in making the connection? Can you see a corresponding Oracle process in Oracle? If you don't have good tools for monitoring Oracle, you may want to try our DB Tools http://www.softtreetech/monitor/ package. If you see the Oracle process in the Oracle monitor, check whether that process is locked by some other processes. Do you have a 24x7x365 operational database or it is restarted every night? If the job starts and makes the connection, enable "Database Tracing" in the 24x7 Scheduler options. Then you can check which particular operation is hanging the job. : I have using 24x7 2.3.7 on a NT server to run all the replication process : from AS400 to oracle 8.0.5.2.0 often i use the oracle 7.3 driver and in : others the oracle 8.0 driver, it happend that in the nigth some process : start but in oracle aren't running in that way they "never end" : really they are not running. what can i do, i need that the process run in : the nigth.
