Post JobDescribe "FOLDER" Reply with quote

I am running the following JobDescribe command for every job in my database:

JobDescribe( x, "FOLDER", folder )

In debug mode the value of the varible folder is always blank. Isn't this suppose to be the folder the job appears in on the left side of the screen in the scheduler?

I think FOLDER will return internal folder id and not the name of the folder
It should not be blank if you declare your folder variable as a number data type.

I changed the variable from a string (which retruned blank) to a number, and it returned 0 for the job that I am testing. It is part of a folder named "Manugistics - Misc". I would expect the name or the internal id also.

When changed to a number type variable, it returns 0 for every JobDescribe in the database.

There is not such property available for JobDescribe at this time. Consider submitting and enhancement request to support@softtreetech.com
