You've got 2 options: 1. Use an alternative method in DB Monitor: In DB Monitor select Tools/Analyzer menu then find the table(s) with chained rows (you can click on the column header to sorted them all by the number of chains). Double-click on the table or select File/Analyze menu. On the "Analysis Options" dialog select Fix Chained Rows option; click OK. To analyze multiple tables in one batch, select all chained tables first then use File/Analyze menu, same Fix option. 2. Download then updated DB Space library from the most from the most recent build. The 30-characters limit has been removed in that build. Here is the direct download link http://www.softtreetech.com/dbtools/fixes/tblspace.lib Save this file into DB Tools home dir. : I am trying to use chained rows wizard tool on my development database and it : works fine except for tables where owner.table_name exceeds 30 characters : , : it truncates the tablename and does not fix chained rows and throws an error : unable to find database object. : Eg: applsys.ra_interface_salescredit_all appears in chained rows wizard as : applsys.ra_interface_salescredit_al (The last l is missing and then it throws : up an error) : Any workarounds for this : Thanks : Amit
