Sounds like your SQL Server is starting from some other location. Are you sure its home is in C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.4\MSSQL\Binn? You can verify it in the properties of the SQL Service service (see the command line). If you find it in some other place please copy xp_dbaudit.dll to that place. : I can use data audit but I am having a hard time : to enable system audit. : Everytime DBAudit asks to restart SQL server. I : choose yes but restart will fail. I am using : trusted connection and that connection can restart : sql server no problem in sql server management studio. : If I choose to manually run sp_db_audit_startup it will : always report "Could not load the DLL xp_dbaudit.dll" : but that dll file is in "C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL : Server\MSSQL.4\MSSQL\Binn" : I spent couple of hours on it but could not figure it out. : Please help. Once I can make it work this product will : be great. : Thank you.
