There is no answer exist for this question, as the performance greatly depends on the computer hardware used on the server, Oracle server version, Oracle server configuration and many other factors. The main purpose of DB Benchmark is not to measure the absolute performance of the database, but provide tools for measuring performance before, after and during various database tuning operations and in general during life-time of the database. So that using these tools you can determine whether a tuning was successful, further improvements are needed or performance has degraded after certain changes in the database. : Hi : Plan to use DB Benchmar Expert for performance evaluation : Tested the tool by running the test (comming with the tool) : for 180 seconds and 20 connections. : I booted the computer after each test. : The results varied from 371 TPS to 416 TPC : Is this want one should expect?? : Reidar
