Our tool DB Audit can be used to collect "updates" save audit trail in database tables. Then it is a relatively simply procedure to reconstruct updates/inserts/deletes using the collected data from the audit trail tables. I don't think you can read DB2 logs remotely. I think you are limited to running db2audit utility which must be run on the server locally. This utility can provide you with text reports based on binary data in log files. Please correct me if I am wrong. : Is it possible to read the DB2 archive log files and redo or undo the SQL : executed? I'm looking for a program that will run in a PC, connect to an : OS/390 machine running DB2 and recreate the SQL (DMLs update, insert, : delete) performed using criterias like Date, Time, STARTRBA-ENDRBA, : Authorization IDs, Plan name, and so on. : I would appreciate your help, : Thanks a lot, : Alberto Aponte : alberto_aponte@aatechsolutions.com
