Yes, it is supported. Any particular reason why you are trying to connect through ODBC? If not, try connection using "Oracle 8.04 - and above" native driver. For the rest of the parameters specify the same values that you use with SQL*Plus. Please note that nether SQL*Plus or DB Tools native database drivers use ODBC/JDBC or other middle-ware software. Native database drivers "talk" directly to Oracle SQLNet. : Hi...Is dbtools supported with 9.2? I downloaded dbtools : and tried to connect to my data source in the DB Tools Database Setup phase : but receive: Unable to connect to database! : SQLSTATE=NA000 [Microsoft][ODBC driver for Oracle][Oracle] : SQL*Plus client connection works. : There is no ODBC Test utility with 9.2 but : I could test the System DSN when I configured it : and the connect succeeded for all three DSN's I configured. : Also configured a User DSN with Microsoft ODBC for Oracle driver. : Also I have the administrator's client software installed : so JDBC/OCI and ODBC and Networking components are installed : and work fine. Has anyone successfully configured db tools against 9.2? : Thanks.
