Post Hard lockup + Lost Documents Reply with quote
Well I'm here again. I had a hard lock earlier and so I killed the task and came back and the document manager popped up documents from LAST Week.

I checked the following location:C:\Users\MyUser\AppData\Roaming\SQL Assistant\History for *.sql files and found none written today.

So it seems I've lost the query I've been working on most of the day.

I started to check out the document manager settings, they all appear OK.

I wrote a simple query and executed it and then hit ctrl+0 to open document manager and went to 'currently opened' or 'current document' in the pulldown and they're empty. It doesn't even show the document I have open.

searching the document manager for something in my query yields no results.

It seems since I upgraded to 9.0.199 it's bamboozled my document manager.

Well I re-wrote most of it and lost it again...

So I'm re-writing it again and SO far the document manager hasn't saved it. It did save my simple query I wrote about earlier (after I submitted I saw it saved)..

It seems to be related to having a ;WITH as the first line in the editor window perhaps. This is all written around CTEs.

Were there any notes on this one or what they discovered?

If I get it correctly, we failed to reproduce this issue and still don't know what could have caused it.. It's very unlikely the issue is related to the text in the editor as saving documents has nothing to do with that.
