Build 9.1.256 is now available for download.

Here is a list of significant changes:
1. Visual Studio add-ons updated to support Visual Studio 2017
2. Native plug-in for Notepad++ offers better integration.
3. Support for Navicat database tools.
4. Advanced object schema References analyzer supporting Oracle, DB2 UDB, PostgreSQL, SQL Server and SQL Azure database servers
5. SQL Assistant Code editor now changes colors of running tabs, shows number of running tasks in the status bar and allow persistent docking of the Task Manager with better control of the running queries.
6. Database Session Monitor for monitoring database and user activities showing running queries and progress of long operations.
7. Task Manager for monitoring and managing all kinds of background operations including query execution, data export and import tasks, data and schema object scripting, data transfers and so on…
8. Improvements in the UI, SQL Assistant windows can be now docked to different sides of the editor and main windows, or be floated and moved to a second monitor.
9. Across the board SQL intelligence enhancements for SELECT statements enabling more efficient coding.
10. Intellisense enhancements for DB2 for iSeries, indexed columns and constraints are now shown in Intellisense prompts.
11. Code formatting enfacements for DECLARE and ALTER statements, for LIMIT and OFFSET clauses.
12. Support for enumeration data type in PostgresSQL
13. Better handling of overloaded functions in DB2 and PostgreSQL databases.
14. SQL Assistant queries for Oracle databases tuned for better performance.
15. Database schema modeling – improved handling of new referential integrity constraints.
16. Schema Comparison enhancements for PosgreSQL databases.
17. Automatic detection and re-connect for dropped connection in MySQL and PostgreSQL databases.
18. The data-transfer utility now recognizes computed and other types of auto-generated columns.
19. The data-grid in edit more now supports inserting rows pasted from the Clipboard (that’s right, you can now insert data into tables by copying data from Excel and other applications).
20. The data-grids now support multiple column sorting using Ctrl+Click method.
21. Optimized data retrieval operation for more efficient memory usage. On 64-bit systems your computer memory is the only limit now for how much data can be retrieved from the database. 2GB is a limit for 32-bit systems.
22. New SQL References for SQL Server 2017 and for SQL Server 2016 R2.
23. New SQL Reference for SAP ASE 16.0.
24. New SQL Reference for MySQL 5.7.
25. New SQL References for DB2 UDB 10.5 and for 11.1.
26. Lots of other minor changes and enhancements.

Upgrading from 9.0 requires reloading factory defaults for at least Common to make Task Manager and Session Monitor to appear in the menu Execute/Schedule SQL.

Thank you for letting us know that. It doesn't seem to merge correctly new and updated queries in 9.1 configuration file with significantly customized settings in version 9.0 after installing 9.1 upgrade. I have logged this issue with a top priority status.

Here is the response I got:

Quote:
We cannot reload default menu without breaking custom commands.
I can confirm that menu is not updated only when it is customized by user.
In this case user himself should add new menu items

That wasn't a complaint, I merely posted that info so that if others were wondering where the new menu items are hiding then they can find a simple method to bring them forth.

It still would be nice if there was a notification of some sort. I'm glad you were able to figure that out. Other people might not be that lucky.
