host name and env variables |
|
We have the same scripts that are used on different hosts. The host and env variables were set for each machine when running under cron.
How does job scheduler set host and env names?

we have host names and env that are set when processing in cron when processing on X server.
We are processing logged on as USERA but we are accessing folders that are owned by USERB, the script is owned by USERA.

If I get it correctly, you will need to set the job to run under USERB account. The scheduler doesn't set any environment variables, the OS does, whenever you create a new session under specific user account.
