Post Notification action script accessing error Reply with quote
Hi
In the windows version of 24x7 is there a convenient way to access the details of an error which pushed a job into a job error JAL script? @V"event" gives whether it's an error or not but can I get the actual error in the notification action script?
Thanks

Without knowing the details of your job, could you trap the error in the job and use GetLastError to log it somewhere useful before the error handling job fires off?

Thanks J so that suggests that the only real way to do it is either 'pushing' it from the normal job script or reading the log or event log

That is my understanding, but I'm checking on that.
