Post Mail Object in Javascript file Reply with quote
I am trying to call Mail.sendWithAttachment in sample.js file (Javascript file). Throws error as uncaught JavaScript runtime exception: ReferenceError: "Mail" is not defined.
Do we need to create object or reference any jar file for accessing Mail object functionality. I am running this sample.js file from Unix in command line.
java -classpath "js.jar:jscheduler.jar:mail.jar" org.mozilla.javascript.tools.shell.Main sample.js

Any suggestion please??

Hi,

You cannot use 24x7 extensions in off-line JS scipts, I mean Mail, Process, FTP, Database, File, etc... The extensions are only available to JS scripts executed by the JS engine hosted whitin 24x7.
