Post Enhancement: Highlight Column Reply with quote
I would like to suggest an enhancement which will highlight the respective "Column Name" for respective "columnValue" when writing or editing INSERT statement. For example

INSERT INTO EMP (EMPID, EMPNAME, EMPDOB, EMPAGE)
VALUES (1,'james bond', '07/07/70',38).

so in above DML,
- if i am entering or editing date it should highlight EMPDOB col.
- if i am entering or editing name it should highlight EMPNAME col.

This is indeed required in realtime db development when there are large number of columns and their values.

Thank you. I've added this feature request to the enhancements queue for further review and implementation.

alterntively u can show column name in tool tip when corresponding column value is being entered or edited. This would be very useful when there are large numbers of cols present in a given table. or when INSERT statement is formated linewse (in that case uers don't have to navigate page up & down to se col name)
