I have tried to register edit+ and I got an error "Unsupported window class"

Any suggestion?

AfxFrameOrView42s doesn't sound like a window class for an edit control. This is a name that indicates class of a frame window hosting the control. Does the editplus.exe use CTRL+F5 as a shortcut to some menu function or other global level functions causing the focus to shift to the frame or frame menu?

If yes, set SQL Assistant to use a different hot key for the target registration to avoid hot key conflict.

If not, use any C++ Spy program, Winspector or WinSpy like tool to find out class name for the edit box control then manually enter that name into SQL Assistant target editor properties.

Thanks for your reply.

The output of winspy shows class is AfxFrameOrView42s as show in a picture.

Thanks for the info. This looks rather unusual. I will ask developers what, if anything, can be done in this situation to make SQL Assistant work with this kind of editor.
