SYNFTPDIR Problem N°2

Please find a log where "remote " option fails to update the target directory with a new subdirectory file and file (newdir).

We have logged for you the relevant source and target directory between 2 synFTPdir commands (JAL TRACE included)

I hope my problem is selfexplanatory. The question is at the end!

Question : where is newdir\newdir.txt????????

Is this newdir\newdir.txt *visible* to the FTP user?
If yes, does the FTP user have sufficient permissions to read from the newdir directory on your FTP server?

Yes to both questions. The NT permissions are "controle total" for everybody.

Moreover, If we use "standard FTP" with same user from same machine we can perform the required tasks.

Please help us ASAP, as this problem is putting us behind schedule on what we expected to be a straightforward task!

Please try using FTPDir to check whether it can see the file
If it can, please email to support@softtreetech.com to report this bug and open new support case. Try to do this ASAP. If you can proof there is a bug, it might be possible to fix it before next scheduled patch is released sometime next week.

As requested we do a ftp dir as requested. FTPDIR show the files on the remote computerbut they are not transferred from the remote system with SYNFTPDIR!!

: Please try using FTPDir to check whether it can see the file
: If it can, please email to support@softtreetech.com to report this bug and
: open new support case. Try to do this ASAP. If you can proof there is a
: bug, it might be possible to fix it before next scheduled patch is
: released sometime next week.

Could you let us know ASAP whether you are addressing this issue. We will have to implement time consuming workarounds it we are not able to see a quick resolution of this problem.
