Post column headers in SQL output file? Reply with quote

Hello,
I'm using DatabaseRetrieve and DatabaseSave to execute a query and output the results to an Excel file. This is working fine, except that I can't get the column headers (or column aliases) to appear. Is it possible to do this?

Thanks,
Erikk

You can save it as CSV or TXT file and append the saved data to another file (template) that has these headers then open that file in Excel.

Or you also save as Excel file then programmatically open it in Excel and run some Excel Macro that will build the headers.

Is there any chance that this could be addressed in a future version of the scheduler, perhaps with a function? Html output includes the column headers. Having to manipulate the output of the query before it is usable by others is undesirable.

Thanks,
Erikk
