Post FTP and proxy server Reply with quote

When using the FTP commands in JAL to connect to an internet host, is there a way to pass through proxy and/or socks servers? What options are there when I don't have a direct connection to the internet, and have to use a proxy or socks server.

Unfortunatelly you cannot use FTP statements with proxies, but in cases when you need to download a file using FTP protocol you can use WebConfig and WebGetFile that will perform like your Web browser (without web browser being involved). For file uploads you can create some CGI or Java program on the server that you can use to upload files. Such program can be executed from 24x7 using WebOpenPage or WebPostData statements
